With a degree in Polymer Engineering from the University of North London, Derek Hindle spent his early career as a product designer in packaging.
In 2001, he moved away from packaging, to the World of CAD software. There he trained highly skilled engineers from many industries to use Pro/Engineer and Catia Computer Aided Design software.
In 2004, Derek came back to the lovely world of packaging, and ran the R&D department at UCP Zeller in Norwich.
In 2009, he became the Global Innovations Director where he took responsibility for the Product Innovation strategy of the entire GCS group.
In March 2016, RPC acquired GCS, Derek started the role he has today, which is to lead the Business Development and Marketing strategy for Berry Bramlage. In addition to this role he has recently started working on group projects such as corporate affairs and taken on the role to lead product innovation.
